Create Growth Programme
Create Growth is a national programme, led by the Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) in partnership with Innovate UK. Hertfordshire Futures secured this programme to support creative sector SMEs with high growth potential. Offering business support, including assistance for those looking to access grant funding and investment, the programme has successfully supported 20 businesses who graduated the first cohort in June 2024 with the September cohort already begun, applications are now open for January 2025.
Get Enterprising
Get Enterprising is a Hertfordshire Futures programme, delivered by Wenta, that supports early stage businesses with an ambition to grow.
Help to Grow: Management Course

Hertfordshire Opportunities Portal (HOP)
Our Hertfordshire Opportunities Programme provides businesses with independent, impartial advice to help them engage effectively with education, employment and training solutions. HOP’s Skills Advisors help employers to assess their staff requirements and future skills needs.
Disability Confident Scheme
Step2Skills at Hertfordshire County Council
Access to guidance and support on how to attract, recruit, retain and develop disabled staff. Find information on how to access extra funding to help cover additional costs of supporting employees with disabilities.
Access to webinars, workshops, case studies and videos on key topics such as mental health
An accreditation certificate and Disability Confident Logo to use on your website and recruitment ads, signalling that you are a fair and inclusive employer

Herts Healthy Workplace
Hertfordshire County Council is successfully working with 40 local small and medium sized businesses from the private and voluntary sectors to lead the way to healthier workplaces in Hertfordshire for everyone. The Herts Healthy Workplace programme supports 1,500 employees and trained 70 Health Champions, addressing any health concerns in their workplace. Get personalised advice, support and training to help your business make the changes needed for a healthier and happier workplace.
Better Business for All
Better Business for All (BBFA) was formed in 2013 and works to boost business productivity and growth by making it easier for businesses to access the regulatory support they need from Local Authorities such as Trading Standards, Environmental Health, Licensing and others. BBFA also works with regulators to help them better understand the challenges faced by businesses.
