Boost your Business with the Stevenage Start-Up Grant

We know that pre-start and early-stage businesses (up to 3 years trading) often need extra funding at the start of their journey. To help, Stevenage Borough Council has launched the Stevenage Start-up Business Grant.

This grant is aimed at small businesses and forms part of our wider business support offer. It aims to:

• Encourage the creation of sustainable new businesses
• Boost entrepreneurship and innovation
• Support enterprise activities
• Help create new jobs in Stevenage

Eligible businesses can apply for a non-repayable grant of £500 to £2,000 to help cover start-up costs. The grant amount will depend on your business stage and project.

To apply, your business must have recently received advice from either:

• Wenta’s Get Enterprising Programme, or
• Hertfordshire Growth Hub Business Support Team
