Support for the creative industries
The UK has one of the world’s most successful and dynamic creative sectors. It provides significant value to the economy and Hertfordshire is a major contributor with over 4,500 firms involved in activities across art, crafts, design, fashion, film and TV, museums and galleries, music and performance, and publishing.
Following the devastating impact of COVID-19 on the sector, Hertfordshire Growth Hub’s Peer Network programme provides a new opportunity for leaders of small and medium-sized businesses to come together and address current challenges, get their industry performing again and drive the creation of new highly skilled creative jobs. The Peer Network will enable businesses to collaborate to develop their potential for future growth and productivity, with the guidance of experienced facilitators from the University of Hertfordshire, industry experts and innovators.
As part of the programme, we will provide each participant with 18 hours of support through a series of high impact group sessions, and at least 3.5 hours of one-to-one support to discuss their business needs. We will also bring in experts and business leaders who have succeeded in the sector locally, nationally and globally, to share their insight and industry experience, as well as the barriers they overcame to achieve success.
