Hertfordshire LEP, working with us and other local support organisations, has identified the needs of the county's businesses and secured EU funding as a result. The Hertfordshire Growth Package is an expanding range of specialist business support services tailored to meet the specific needs of SMEs and entrepreneurs.

Get Growing

Get Growing is an European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) funded programme that supports SMEs, in Hertfordshire, that have growth potential. The project aims to enhance the competitiveness of SMEs and support their capacity to grow in regional, national and international markets.

   

 

Innovate 2 Succeed

Innovate 2 Succeed is a mentoring service to help SMEs enhance their innovative capabilities and commercially exploit their ideas. The fully funded, tailored support can help in developing and implementing practical innovation, creating a culture of sustainable innovation and ultimately taking new products or services to market. 

 

 

Get Exporting 2

Get Exporting 2 is a tailored programme of advice and assistance, both financial and 1-2-1, to enable companies to begin selling overseas or to expand internationally, thereby increasing profitability and employment in a sustainable way. It is backed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) which has enabled The Department of International Trade to provide services additional to their normal operations and grants of up to £3,000.

  

 


Hertfordshire Start-up Service

This free package of business start-up support is available to residents of Hertfordshire that are starting a new business. Funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and supported by Hertfordshire LEP, this package of support is being delivered by Wenta, STANTA and Dacorum Borough Council. 

   

 

ProConnect Hertfordshire

ProConnect is an exciting programme of support for small creative companies working in or aspiring to work in the film and TV industry, running across Greater Manchester and Hertfordshire. This programme is aimed at small businesses (less than 250 employees), working in the film and television industry, as well as businesses outside the industry that could benefit from the film and TV industry.

  

 

Manufacturing Growth Programme

This programme is designed to support SME manufacturers to grow by identifying, understanding and removing barriers to growth and enabling sustainable business improvement. The programme provides free advice and support to manufacturing SMEs to help in identifying opportunities, creating plans for growth and improvement, working with the best external experts to implement those plans, connecting to wider support in order to maximise opportunities for growth, and more. 

 

 

Hertfordshire Low Carbon Innovation Network

The Project is part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and aims to provide sector-specific support to local SMEs to develop innovative low carbon technologies for the built environment. It is developed to utilise the collective demand from buyers of low carbon innovation to attract high growth SMEs and provide them with direct support from potential clients and a delivery team led by BRE.

 

 

KEEP+

KEEP+ is designed to help your business achieve its goals for growth by helping you overcome barriers to innovation. By partnering with Anglia Ruskin University, KEEP+ will provide your SMEs with a flexible programme that will help you innovate. KEEP+ provides support in developing new products or services, increasing profitability, reducing costs and providing you with a stepping stone to larger-scale innovation opportunities.

  

 

Low Carbon Workspaces

The Low Carbon Workspaces Project is funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). The project offers a match funded grant of up to £5,000 to eligible SMEs for the installation of energy efficiency solutions. The project is delivered and managed by Ngage Solutions, a not-for-profit company, who design and deliver programmes to support organisations, individuals and communities.
