FREE CYBER CONSULTATIONS FOR SMEs
For a limited time only, the Police and Crime Commissioner for Hertfordshire, David Lloyd, is providing micro-businesses with the opportunity to secure a FREE consultation with an accredited IT security provider in Hertfordshire.
There are 100 free consultations, known as Cyber Basics Reviews (CBR), which are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
A CBR is a police-approved IT security health check; designed to ensure that your business is getting the basics right when it comes to cyber security. If you're worried about the risk to your business of becoming victim to cyber crime, but don’t know where to begin, or worry that you have gaps in your systems, then a CBR is the perfect place to start.
Comprising a list of questions about your IT setup, a CBR is the first step to becoming cyber-secure. After this, participants can consider taking the next step which is to complete HM Government’s ‘Cyber Essentials’ programme.
To qualify for a free CBR, you must be based in Hertfordshire and have five or fewer employees.
If eligible, you will be walked through the CBR by an approved IT provider in a 1:1 consultation, at your convenience. Shortly after, you will be provided with an ‘action plan’.
