The challenge

TekOne Technologies Ltd is a family run IT support company that provides outsourced support for home and business users. The company was keen to take a more focused approach to their marketing so approached Hertfordshire Growth Hub at a local networking event for help to develop a marketing plan and explore innovative ways to expand their service offering.

The solution

To increase their marketing effectiveness the company started working with our sales and marketing specialists Chris Ellis and David Zerny. They helped them to define a new compelling proposition and reviewed their branding and website to help execute their ambitious growth plans.

Managing Director Nosheen Lone began working with the Growth Hub’s technology and productivity specialist, Dr Abrar Jawaid. He helped TekOne create a Business Model Canvas to define the company’s value proposition, customers and finances to help align their activities and prepare for funding opportunities.

TekOne has also benefitted from the Growth Hub’s events, designed to get businesses thinking differently about their activities and help them realise their plans for growth.

The impact

Since TekOne started working with the Growth Hub they have:

  • Developed a marketing plan to target their activities more effectively
  • Implemented digital advertising allowing them to reach more customers
  • Created a business plan to help increase their resource efficiency
