Green Access specialises in the design, development and manufacturing of door entry and digital solutions for assisted living. They wanted to develop and embed in-house capability to produce their own products to take to market. Keen to make more of an impact in their industry and reach out to new clients, they were also looking to strengthen their brand. To turn these ideas into a reality, they needed funding, marketing, technical expertise and support in filling specific skills gaps.
The company began working with technology and productivity specialist Abrar Jawaid. He helped Green Access explore multiple technology solutions which were aligned to their business requirements. Abrar also introduced them to the University’s Knowledge Transfer Partnership team to help develop their products and technology, and identified suitable R& D funding opportunities.
Our sales and marketing specialist, Chris Ellis and our skills adviser Caroline Cartwright helped develop job specifications for two new positions to support the company’s growth plans. Already a firm believer in apprenticeships, Green Access were keen to explore further routes to help build their future talent pipeline and Caroline also put them in touch with the University to help access a student to support their marketing objectives.
Chris also helped Green Access develop a well-planned and consistently executed marketing plan and brand communication strategy to support their growth plans.
Since Green Access started working with the Growth Hub they have:
