The challenge

Blackmores is a leading ISO management systems consultancy. Founded in 2006, the company specialises in implementing British (BS) and International (ISO) Standards in Quality, Environment and Risk Management. They’ve grown significantly over the years and want to continue to grow by winning new contracts and establishing themselves as thought leaders in their field. They approached the Growth Hub for support with developing their marketing strategy and tactics, refining their sales pipeline and reviewing their communications.

The solution

Blackmores worked with our specialist sales and marketing adviser Chris Ellis, who reviewed their sales proposals, marketing communications and branding. He made recommendations on the format, content and design to increase their impact and improve conversion rates.

Whilst the company were successful at producing and disseminating proposals, they lacked the resource to follow these up in a timely manner. Chris identified an opportunity for an internal sales position to refine the sales process and maximise conversions.

Keen to drive leads online, Chris helped Blackmores work with their website developer to optimise their website and increase engagement with new and existing clients.

The impact

Since Blackmores began working with the Growth Hub they have:

  • Taken on two new consultants
  • Conducted a successful website review
  • Developed a sales and marketing strategy
  • Reviewed their marketing collateral and implemented changes
  • Implemented time-saving efficiencies to focus on business development.

Working with the Growth Hub has been a really useful experience. Seeing the business through a fresh pair of eyes has allowed us to take a step back and focus on the key areas where we can maximise growth. We look forward to continuing to work with them and benefitting from their expertise.”
